Converting Glass to Sand

The hospitality industry consumes huge amounts of glass bottles, whether that's for water, wine, soft drinks, beers or spirits.  Some bottles, like those used for water and soft drinks, can be returned to suppliers where facilities exist, but most need to be disposed of by the business that has purchased them.  Now there are new ways for businesses to cut collection costs and even create new income streams by converting non-returnable glass bottles into sand that can be sold to new customers.
